Keep Moving Forward

April 13, 2007 by allanxaesthetics

Today, I had nothing to do. So, I watched Meet the Robinsons with a few friends. Suprisingly, it was a lot better than I had initially expected. I just love Disney movies. I remember the last movie I saw, TMNT with Adura because he wanted to see it soo bad. It fucking sucked ass, the animations were okay, but the story was pure crap. They were just milking the poor franchise. I’m beginning to wonder why I even liked TMNT in the first place.

Anyway, the movie was in 3-d and it had a lot of nifty extras, like a few short animations and previews in 3-d. I recommend anyone go see the movie. Despite the annoying little kids in the theatres, it was a great movie. The whole time paradox and time machines, oh yeah and the dinosaur.

Spring Break

April 10, 2007 by allanxaesthetics

Ahh, the much awaited spring break is finally here. I’ve no friends to hang out with because most of them are in Hawaii as I blog. Arrggh! I was so expecting someone to be inelligible so I could take their ticket! Everyone’s all excited to party and hang out. I’m forced to hangout with people I don’t usually hang out with.

What I’m expecting this week: 70% Study, art show, movie theatres, six flags, and scpa championships.

Guess What?

April 10, 2007 by allanxaesthetics

I know I was a fool for you, but now you’re pitiful. More then I have ever imagined, despite perfect fashion.

You’ll never amount to anything in life, you damn skank. :]

I know I can do better, just leave me alone and let me be.

“We”Tube: The Future of Youtube

February 19, 2007 by allanxaesthetics

Zake George asked a great question; why do we tube. It also made me think about the implications and benefits of youtube. I was going to do a video response, but whatever. I felt like blogging was a good idea, since I haven’t updated in a while.

Youtube is so much more than just entertainment. It’s the next step to evolution. It’ll get our ideas further out than we could imagine to people around the world. We’ll finally be able to break those barriers and borders between everyone. If a picture says a thousand words, how much words does a video represent? Like George said, our primary sense is vision. We can learn so much faster by watching videos. We could use videos are tutorials, instructions, help, etc. We’ll also be able to create a personality for ourselves. Before we just had a username and maybe an avatar, but that didn’t really say much about ourselves.

The downside, I believe that youtube’s progression will slow down like the internet. 50% of the internet is filled with pornography. I believe the same will happen with youtube, although I know it’s not allowed; I wouldn’t be surprised if they allowed that type of content in the future. I also believe that youtube is the begininng of isolation amongst people. The internet can virtually do anything, why do we need to go out of our houses to do something, when we can do it in the convience of our homes. Youtube has a strong user base and popularity, almost kinda scary. People will be engrossed in youtube to an ubelievable extent; worst than television.

Christmas!

December 28, 2006 by allanxaesthetics

Ahh at last, Christmas has passed. I finally learned that Chrstimas isn’t about all those material things like decorations and presents; to get into the spirit you have to spend time with your family and give.

Christmas wasn’t what I expected. I didn’t go to church! ZOMG FTW, first time in my life. It was because we didn’t know what time mass started; we were going to go at midnight but my mom had work.

Hmm, for Christmas I got:

  • Deer Hunter Hoodie
  • New pair of skiny jeans
  • $120
  • AMC movie tickets

I know it’s not a lot but I still appreciate it, my parents tried so diligently to get me the Wii. Ehh, I’m better off getting it next year. I hate it; I always get a new console right when it comes out. This time, I’ll just wait til’ the next price drop. Analyst opened up the Wii and found that the materials and technology inside were worth about $180, I think (can someone confirm this?). They also predict that consumers won’t be satisfied until March (PS3 and Wii).

Warm Me Up!!!

December 24, 2006 by allanxaesthetics

It’s officially the beginning of winter and I need some new jackets. I’m dejected because although my track jackets look super cool, they’re just not warm enough. I’m always freezing my ass off, even at home. Someone get me something warm!

My choices:

Deer Hunter Hoodie – $109.99

Bleach Hollow Hoodie – $30

College Crap

December 24, 2006 by allanxaesthetics

I’ve always dreamt of going to a prestigious university; making my parents proud; being successful and showing it off to my siblings, but I haven’t being doing well in school.

I plan to take the SATS in January just to see how I do; of course once is never enough so I’ll be taking it again.

I don’t even know what I want to do in life. Well, I’ve narrowed it down to a few things: Astrophysicist, computer programmer, law attorney, musician. Gahh! I just don’t know. I know my weak points, but even though, I think with enough determination I can get be anything.

Here’s some colleges that I want to go to; ranked on how much I wanna go to them.

  1. University of San Diego
  2. University of Davis
  3. University of Irvine
  4. University of Riverside
  5. California State University, Long Beach

A boy can dream right? *sigh* I’m determined to amount to something great in life. Can’t fault me for lack of enthusaism.

Why the Playstation 3?

December 24, 2006 by allanxaesthetics

Well, recently today my sister found out that a Best Buy in Cerritos had six PS3s. She asked me if I wanted one for Christmas and that my Mom would compensate her. I was like, ‘ask if they have any Wiis.’ She got a little upset that I chose Nintendo over Sony. Not surprising nowadays; everyone totally hates Sony. With the delayment of PS3s, DRM protection, Blu-ray, haha and not to mention the fact about the lack of support in Europe.

Seriously though, you’re better off getting a Wii and here are a few cons on why you shouldn’t invest in one. (no particular order)

  1. Everything for it is just damn expensive! Including games; which are about $60-70 now. Gosh damn. Back in my day, games were . . . well yeah they were about the same a long time ago and technology has really grown, but ask yourself this question, “is it worth it?” Is $600 really worth graphics; does it really affect gameplay?
  2. Sony is incompetent. Look at their support for their consumers. Also, what about the HD cables that aren’t included. Sheesh.
  3. The basic online factors are lacking. The PS3 feels like one of those cheap all-in-one camera compared to the Wii and 360 which are all about gaming. The online system is probably on par with the Wii with the friend codes and whatnot.
  4. But wait, aren’t they connoseiurs at music? Hell no; the PS3 isn’t even versatile enough to play music from a mp3 player while playing video games. A standard which even the 360 and Wii can do. ZOMG.
  5. The Wii duh! What I mean is that the PS3 doesn’t really offer anything new; except new graphics, but where’s the innovation. BTW, they fucking ripped off Nintendo with the motion senser.

C’mon Sony get your act together. Maybe you guys should just stick to making televions and radios sets instead.

Person of the Year

December 24, 2006 by allanxaesthetics

Let me start off by saying that I’m this year’s person of the year. I shit you not! You can even check your Times magazine. Yup I’m on the cover. Finally I get some recognition. Actually, it’s everyone. I think that the reason they chose ‘you’ or rather us is because there wasn’t anyone prodigious enough to be person of the year. In the magazine, it describes how we control the information age (using the Interwebz). It’s somewhat true; I remember reading a statistic that over 70% (correct me if I’m wrong) have internet access. This isn’t suprising, you can find the internet everywhere nowadays. You name it. Starbucks. Mc Donalds. Your local library.

The internet is virtually another world. You can practically do anything online. I used to think that I was wasting time by staying on the computer so much, but I found that I usually accomplish a lot while on the computer. I don’t even need to leave the house; I can interact with everyone online using Skype, AIM, and Myspace (one neccessary evil if I want to stay in contact with everyone). Also I can do research, hmwk, shopping; gah so many things. A computer is neccessary in todays’ life.
